I am a girl who loves everything tech…gadgets, gear, digital and technological advancements. I am always pondering ways to improve my lifestyle with technology. Whether reading an article in a popular magazine or listening to a speaker at a workshop, I am dreaming of ways to innovate. So, when I heard Marie De Decia, Head of Travel Industry at Google MENA, speaking at the Arabian Travel Market last year, I was inspired to build a travel related app called Peeker. She gave astonishing figures that support video as an emerging part of the decision making process for travelers in the UAE and KSA.  Since then, I have been working on a new startup opportunity that involves mobile, travel and video. I’ll leave it at that and save the details for my submission to ‘Launching People’

We all have passions and dreams. There are four categories for idea submission which include education, fashion, invention and startup. Find the category that best fits you, share your idea with Samsung and they could help make it happen. Submissions are open until 15th March, 2014. For all of you techies like me wishing to launch a startup or invent something new, check out what Mohammed Saeed Harib has to say to you…
