Fine jewelry maker, Pandora, teamed up with Good Housekeeping Magazine Middle East to introduce its’ newest collection. The magazine hosts regular reader panel events that bring together popular brands and discerning taste makers from around the emirate. This month, the panel met over an amazing dinner at Latest Recipe located in Le Meridien Hotel. The evening was full of good food, fun and of course, exquisite jewelry.
Pandora is best known for it’s individually crafted charms. They are highly coveted by ladies who enjoy collecting and assembling them into customized bracelets. Traditionally, Pandora’s charms have represented memories like the sterling silver Baby Carriage Charm which commemorates the birth of a child. The new Essence Collection represents “the essence of you”. It offers 24 beautiful and symbolic charms that emphasize your inner values, hopes and desires. The Essence Collection strives to connect you – and others – to who you really are.
The Essence Collection also includes a slender sterling silver bracelet. Charms slide effortlessly onto it and are secured in place thanks to an innovative patent pending design. Sylvana Haddad explained the technology and demonstrated how it works. I appreciate this feature because it keeps the charms equally distributed allowing for each charm to be properly displayed.
Panel participants were lucky enough to see the Essence Collection and create charm bracelets based on their most and least important values. Tons of fun – yes – but, this task was heavier than it seems. It truly made us all introspect and limit ourselves to the six visual reminders that best represented who we are as individuals. In fact, I’m still pondering what my first charm will be when I visit Pandora in Dubai to pick up my new bracelet. Stay tuned to find out what it is.
