du has announced the launch of its revamped mobile app with a design intended to  enhance user experience. The du app is open to all subscribers including  home, business, prepaid and postpaid mobile customers. It delivers instant access to a variety of features including biometric payments, balance reports, itemized bills, online support and much more.

Here are four things you can do with the newly designed app:

  1. Manage Accounts – From checking usage to consolidating multiple du accounts under a single ID, you can completely managing your telecom services using the app. You can even pay a bill for friend who’s a fellow du customer if you feel so inclined.
  2. Make Payments – You can open your smartphone with a fingerprint, gesture or even your iris and du has leveraged those features in the new app. You can access your personal details and perform tasks in a flash using biometric payments.
  3. Renew Registration – We’ve all been there; moving about life and then BAM! You’re inundated with SMS messages telling you that the ID on your account is about to expire. That will probably still happen but the good news is, you can now renew your mobile registration through the app.
  4. Schedule Appointments – Let’s face it, technology is great but sometimes, nothing beats talking to a human. In the event that you do need to speak to a du customer service representative, you can book appointments at du stores using the app.

The goal of this initiative is to help customers save time on basic tasks. du has optimized the app to create a better user experience which will hopefully yield happy customers. The du app is available on Android and iOS platforms.
