Deliveroo, originally launched in London in 2013, currently operates in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The company partners with premium restaurants that do not typically deliver which gives it a value proposition over similar services. Deliveroo is an app and service all wrapped into one. The app is available for iOS and Android. Simply download the version of your choice and specify your area on the opening screen. Then, choose a restaurant, place your order and Deliveroo takes care of the rest. There is a minimum order amount of AED 50 with an AED 7 delivery charge. If the order minimum is not met, you must pay an additional surcharge of AED 11.

In Abu Dhabi the service areas north of the island include Al Reem, Qasr Al Bahr, Al Nahyan and Al Markaziyah. South of the city Deliveroo will deliver to Al Bateen, Al Mushrif, Al Musallah, Al Karamah and Al Khubeirah with further expansion planned in the upcoming months. Hopefully this will include Shakbout, Khalifa City and Al Falah – areas that are under-served but heavily populated.

As Valentines Day approaches, the successful on-demand delivery app is going beyond meal delivery. Check out these exclusive deals to make your special day hassle-free.
