Excellent customer service is the name of the game and these businesses are bringing it straight to you! We’re still practicing social distancing and avoiding the blazing summer heat so these services are spot on. From filling a prescription to getting a new SIM card, here’s how you can be serviced without getting out of your car – or in some cases – leaving your home.
Fill it up
Forget waiting at the pump, ADNOC will bring petrol directly to your vehicle. Through the MyStation service you can schedule a time for refuelling and the mobile petrol station travels to you. The mobile station has a traveling fuel attendant and it’s currently available in Al Riyadh, Abu Dhabi Island, Al Maryah Islanf, Al Reem Island and Al Falah. Call 800 300 or 054 792 9411 to order service, which is available from 7am to 11pm daily.
Pharmacy runs are a thing of the past with Wasfati medication delivery service launched by Danat Al Emarat and HealthPlus Pharmacies. The service brings both prescription and over-the-counter medications to your doorstep. To order, visit wasfati.ae to complete the form and upload required documents (prescription and emirates ID). A licensed pharmacist will then contact you to complete the process and your medication will be delivered the next day.
Curb your enthusiasm
We’re more dependent on devices for school and work than ever before. In response to this new normal, Jumbo Electronics has launched its Curbside Collect & Drop off services. So what does this mean for you? If you order online at jumbo.ae, you can choose to pick up merchandise using Curbside Collect as opposed to waiting for delivery.
On the other hand, if you have an item that needs repair, you can use the Curbside Drop-off option to pull up and have a member of staff collect it while you wait in your car. Both services are available at all Jumbo Electronics stores for your convenience.
Making a few home improvements? Ace Hardware gives you the option to safely collect orders without having to step out of your vehicle. To avail this service, simply order items online and choose the Drive Thru option at checkout. The service is totally free and available between 8am and 9pm 7 days a week. The only downside is that Drive Thru is currently only available at the Dubai Festival City store. Fingers crossed that it makes its way to the capital soon.
